Secretary of Defense Pete Hexsas says US Marines are ready
to support law enforcement dealing with anti ice protests in
the LA area. In a post on X, Hexas said

to assist the two thousand National Guard soldiers being deployed
to the area. Protests erupted around Los Angeles Saturday in
response to raids by federal immigration authorities. Police declared an

It happened just before eleven thirty Saturday morning along State Street.
Police say the twenty six year old victim was the
driver of the tourist bus and was stabbed twice by
two males following a dispute. The turned physical. The two
suspects took off, and the victim was taken to the hospital,
where he's expected to survive. The exact circumstances surrounding the
shooting remain unknown. So far no arrests.
